gidouille Despite the name, and a penchant for wearing monk's habits when they perform, there's nothing especially satanique about them, their relationship to Samba seems rather more tenuous than, say, that of Tom Ze who is himself considered to be out on the fringes, and they don't seem to have ever been a trio. They release brief, concentrated recordings replete with two minute long tunes which draw on a number of influences but are perhaps best described as sonic distillations of magical realism,
